Here\u2019s some more help in<strong> searching through this resource<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fpl.fs.fed.us\/\" target=\"_blank\">Forest Products Laboratory\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> very helpful <strong>Tech Sheets<\/strong>, available for many wood species, are most easily accessed\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www2.fpl.fs.fed.us\/TechSheets\/techmenu.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> which brings you to an index with categories of species. I am not able to find a direct link to this index on the FPL <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fpl.fs.fed.us\/\" target=\"_blank\">homepage<\/a>. I emailed them suggesting they include this convenience.<\/p>\n<p>Another route is to type the common name of the wood, e.g. &#8220;cherry&#8221;, in the <strong>Search box<\/strong> in the upper left corner of the homepage. For most species, you will find at least one item in the results with &#8220;Tech Sheet&#8221; which will lead you to either the sheet itself or an index from which you can go to the desired species.<\/p>\n<p>Wood.
