					<description><![CDATA[Thanks, JD, for another way to do the same vice compensation. 
The gradation of my wooden pieces works well and is quick and easy. Occasionally I stick on a piece of veneer or something to one of the thicker group. 
It is all convenient and works.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[I got two packs of plastic cards from a discount store, taped them together with a packing tape without opening and drilled a 3/8” hole about 1/4&quot; from a corner. Then unpacked, and using two washers, a domed screw and a lock nut holds this all together. These two packs of cards can be quickly split to match a whatever thickness needs to be clamped. This type of a spacer doesn’t fall down every time you open the vises: the remainder of the deck hooks onto a jaw. Of course something like mdf can be used, or maybe plywood sheeting scraps. There are commercial manufacturers of this thing, I didn’t invent it]]></description>
