Man, I love when I come across a good blog post with good advice for the small things in our shop. I've been stealing my wife's painters tape or masking tape for the odd jobs around the shop. I haven't been particularly impressed with them, but this post lays out suggestions for tape that I will be needing in the future. I'm looking to build a couple more laminated wooden planes and will be looking for the 1.5" #2060 to hold it all together during the glue up.

Cheers,

Hi Rob,
Good tape info. I use the blue tape to mark part locations, mortise to tenon etc. Now that they have logos printed on the face I'll have to try the green.

Thanks for all your efforts and really great information.
