Nate, the summit photos were taken from South Twin Mt. in the White Mountains of NH - in the second week of October! It&#039;s about six miles in. There are lots of great hikes and peaks in the Whites. Most outdoors stores in the Northeast will have several books to guide you, especially the definitive Appalachian Mountain Club&#039;s White Mountain Guide and Maps.
